A display entitled ‘Local Men at Gallipoli’ will be on show at the Brookfield District Museum from Anzac Day. The project was a cooperative one between the Kenmore and District Historical Society, the Museum and the Kenmore Moggill RSL. Penny Cook of KDHS, Joy Stacey of the Museum, and her researcher, Roslyn Bullimore prepared the display. Three of the nine local men who were at Gallipoli were killed and several others suffered serious illness. One who was killed, Billy Pacey, wrote a diary which has been reproduced by KDHS and will be available for $10. The display is free, with a gold coin donation requested.”
