Advice has been received from DVA that some practitioners have advised their clients that they are covered for Free Treatment (Malignant Conditions (Cancers)/PTSD/Depressive – Anxiety Disorder) whereby their Service is clearly not within the bounds of the Veterans Entitlement Act. Receiving incorrect advice under these circumstances, without doubt, adds unnecessary additional stress on the client. The attachment clearly spells out the entitlement criteria that all Practitioners should follow.
