Mt Crosby School ANZAC Services

Alan and School Captains with their badges

This year Mt Crosby School conducted two Anzac services – one for years 1 – 3 on Thursday 23rd and another for years 4 – 6 on Friday 24th April, both of which were conducted very appropriately  by the School Captains.

Following the service for the lower grades, Alan was delighted when some of the students presented him with five hand-decorated bags chock-full of delicious Anzac biscuits which had been made by the classes at the school. Alan and Carolyn are still eating them.

During the Friday service it was Alan’s pleasure to present a rising sun badge to both the School Captains in appreciation of their fine efforts organising the services to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the landings at Gallipoli.
