Pacey Cover

Willaim Billy Pacey died of wounds on a hospital ship off Gallipoli on the 25th April 1915.  He was in the 7th Battery, 3rd Australian Field Artillery which was the first artillery group to land at Gallipoli in April 1915. Billy kept a diary which was printed in 1933.  The family has given the Kenmore and District Historical Society permission to reproduce the diary to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Gallipoli.  The diary contains personal information about Billy’s voyage to Egypt and most of his time at Gallipoli.

The diary is available from Westpac Bank, Kenmore for $10, or by mail order from the society for $13.50 including postage.  To order a copy please complete the order form or contact Judy Magub on 3878 4330 or  [email protected].
